Embryo Freezer Calibration

One of the most critical pieces of equipment we use in the ET industry has to be the controlled rate freezer.

For over 20 years, Agtech has proudly distributed the Freeze Control® brand of liquid nitrogen freezers manufactured by Cryologic.

We coordinate weekly shipments of freezers back to the factory in Australia where your CL5500 or CL2200 was actually built.

When they arrive they are inspected, tested and calibrated by the highly experienced engineering staff at Cryologic to ensure many more years of continued reliable performance.

I’m sure it sounds time consuming and expensive to send your freezer all the way to Australia!

In reality we average a 2.5 week turnaround and if the system is found to be in good working order the total cost for calibration and round trip shipping usually comes out around $650.00.

Agtech has a fleet of loaner systems available for you to use while your system is being serviced. The only fee associated with this is the shipping to and from our facility in Manhattan, KS.

Cryologic recommends the following guidelines

• 1 to 100 freeze cycles : every 3 years
• 101 to 200 freeze cycles : every other year
• 201+ freeze cycles: every year
